How to read the matrix

A ✓ clean cell means the printer's stock hardware covers the material's needs: the hotend and bed reach the required temperatures, an enclosure is present if the material warps without one, and the nozzle survives abrasive blends. A △ with mods cell means one specific, fixable gap — usually "needs enclosure or draft shield" for ABS/ASA on open frames, or "needs hardened nozzle swap" for carbon-fiber filaments. A ✕ not recommended cell means the hardware can't reach the material's floor — no amount of tuning fixes a bed that tops out below the material's minimum.

Click any printer for its full spec sheet and per-material verdict list, or any material for its settings table and the printers that handle it clean. The rules behind every cell are documented on the methodology page — and a spec correction recomputes the whole matrix.
